Published: 23 Mar 2018Title: Notice calling for inspection of Supplementary Valuation RollStatus: NOTICE CALLING FOR INSPECTION OF SUPPLEMENTARY VALUATION ROLL Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49(1)(a)(i) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 6 of 2004 that the Supplementary Valuation Roll for the 2017/18 financial year lies open for public inspection at the various municipal offices and libraries within the municipal boundaries and municipal website www.capeagulhas.gov.za from 3 April 2018 to 4 May 2018. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 10
  • 2-3 years knowledge of all sport code of cricket, hockey, soccer, rugby and netball
  • Drivers licence Code B

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be physically fit and healthy
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Good sight, hearing and speech ability
  • Ability to perform manual operations and duties on foot
  • Good interpersonal skills

JOB PURPOSE:

  • To supervise in managing  7 sport grounds and graveyards

DUTIES:

  • Inspection of all Sport Grounds.
  • Handling of conflict resolution and ensuring smooth running of all Sport Grounds & Graveyards.
  • Attend to all complaints of all Sport Grounds & graveyard from the public and visitors.
  • Ensure that the facilities are neat and well maintained. Patrolling terrain in order to ensure that the public adhere to safety regulations
  • Reporting vandalism, conflict situations and unsavoury acts to manager public services.
  • Performing administrative duties in respect of, reporting injury on duties and manage team leave.
  • Ensure that operational cemetery matters are performed as instructed by Manager Public Services
  • Graves maintained according to legally stipulated parameters of depth.
  • Cemeteries are kept clean and maintained
  • Exhumation or internment of deceased are done as instructed by the manager Public services per legislated ordinance.
  • Supervise the upkeep and maintenance of cricket, soccer and rugby fields and sports complexes.
  • Responsible for maintenance at all sports fields and complexes.
  • Markings and preparations for inspections done  according to required standards.
  • Maintenance is performed on field markings timeously.
  • Ensure that all the sports field markings are prepared for inspection.
  • Ensure health and safety requirements in the work area (safety cones, cordon off work area etc.)
  • Facilitate the submission of requisition and quotations for acquiring material and equipment according to council supply chain processes in collaboration with superior. Responsible for distributing material and equipment for facilitates/amenities

VEREISTES:

  • Graad 10
  • 2-3 jaar kennis van al sportkode van krieket, hokkie, sokker, rugby en netbal

WERKS DOEL

  • Om toesig te hou oor  7 sportgronde asook die begraafplase.
  •  
  • Inspeksie van alle sportgronde.

Hantering van konflik en verseker dat alle sport aktiwiteite goed afloop.

  • Gee aandag aan alle klagtes van alle sportgronde & begraafplaas van die publiek en besoekers.
  • Maak seker dat die fasiliteite  netjies en goed onderhou word. Patrolleer terrein ten einde te verseker dat die publiek Hou by die veiligheids regulasies
  • Raportering van vandalisme, konfliksituasies en onsmaaklike dade aan die bestuurder openbare dienste.
  • Administratiewe pligte ten opsigte van, verslagdoening besering aan diens en bestuur span verlof.
  • Maak seker dat operasionele begraafplaas sake uitgevoer soos voorgeskryf deur Bestuurder Openbare Dienste
  • Graftes moet gehandhaaf word volgens die wetlike bepalings parameters van diepte.
  • Begraafplase moet skoon gehou word en in stand gehou word
  • Opgrawing van oorledene gedoen word in opdrag van die bestuurder Openbare dienste per wetgewing vereis
  • Hou toesig oor die instandhouding van krieket, sokker en rugby velde en sport komplekse.
  • uitmerk en voorbereidings van sportvelde  gedoen volgens die voorgeskrewe standaarde.
  • Beroepsveiligheid en gesondheids vereistes
  • Fasiliteer die indiening van rekwisisie en kwotasies vir die verkryging van materiaal en toerusting volgens die raad voorsieningskanaal prosesse in samewerking met uitstaande.
